Sensuikyo azalea festival.
It is the middle of May that approximately 50,000 rosebays growing wild in the ravine between Aso Takadake and Nakadake bloom in profusion all at once. By an event to be carried out to it, it is full of many tourists from the whole Kyushu.

It is one hour 14 minutes in JR from Kumamoto Station to Miyaji Station.

Distance from Miyaji Station to Sensuikyo is 6.1km.

Honmyoji Hana Touro 2011　本妙寺桜灯篭

I went in Hana-Touro of Honmyo-ji Temple on March 27.
Because it was the camera of the mobile telephone, a picture was bad, but made it slide show.
The live broadcasting was fairer than a photograph.
14 temples form a line on both sides of the Honmyo-ji Temple approach to a shrine.
And, at each temple, there were the concerts such as a performance / a samisen and the koto of a junior high student chorus / Noh / a guitar and the flute.
The whole Jochiro becomes the grave of the Duke of Kiyomasa Kato who built Kumamoto-jo Castle.

Aomori Nebuta Festival（青森ねぶたまつり）

Aomori Nebuta Festival is the Tohoku region's greatest festival.
It is performed every year by schedules from August 2 to 7th.
2nd and 3rd. It is the parade of child Nebuta Festival and large-scale Nebuta Festival at night.
4th and 5th and 6th. The parade of Nebuta Festival large-scale at night.

7th. There are the parade of large-scale Nebuta Festival and Aomori fireworks and the marine parade of Nebuta Festival in Night and Day.

The production days of Nebuta Festival are about 3 months.
The production expense of one Nebuta Festival is about 20,000,000 yen.
A light does not turn on Nebuta at noon, but it is great force when it turns on Nebuta at night.

In Takachiho, a sea of clouds is beautiful in morning, and the gorge is beautiful, and colored leaves are beautiful sightseeing spots in autumn.

The place is about 2 hours 30 minutes by car from Kumamoto Station.
And there is it by bus to about 3 hours 20 minutes.

Castle Festival is Hitoyoshi-shi of Kumamoto every year on first Sunday of the May.
SL Hitoyoshi leaves Kumamoto Station at 9:41 and arrives at Hitoyoshi Station at 12:13.
You arrive and finish lunch and will enjoy a festival.
By the festival, there are the performances such as a samurai parade / iai / horseback archery /the gun firing.

It is about 2 hours 20 minutes by a normal train.

It is about 20 minutes on foot from Hitoyoshi Station.
A taxi can go from Hitoyoshi Station in about 5 minutes.

The Saidaiji temple nude Festival

The Saidai temple nude Festival is performed every year on the third Saturday of February.

"Saidaiji-eyo" (a naked festival) which scrambled for about 9,000 two Hogi (a sacred tree) said that a naked male servant invited fortune was performed in Okayama-shi in the night of 19th.

Saidaiji-Kannonin is 16 minutes from JR Okayama Station to Saidaiji Station. There is it on foot from the station to around 15 minutes.

There is a concert in the main shrine of Honmyo-ji Temple.

There is the performance of various tones with a flute and a koto and a biwa and a synthesizer.
A light of 3,000 garden lanterns which going to see cherry blossoms at night and the people of the town made with a Japanese paper is beautiful at the same time on the approach to a shrine of the temple.

It is three minutes to Kamikumamoto Station in JR from Kumamoto Station.
Then it is about around 15 minutes on foot from Kamikumamoto Station to Honmyo-ji Temple.

流れてくる盃が自分の前を通りすぎないうちに詩歌をつくり、盃を戴く平安時代の宮中行事を再現する祭事です。
起源は中国「秦」時代とされ、清らかな水の流れに、盃を流して禊祓（けがれをはらう）の儀式として行われたのが始まりといわれています。
晋の永和9年（353年）3月3日中国蘭亭にて催された宴が、現在の形として伝わっています。日本では、日本書紀に485年曲水の宴が行われ、又続日本書紀には728年聖武天皇が宴を催したとあり、古くより宮中を中心に行われていたことを知ることができます。
道真公も宇多天皇寛平2年（890年）3月3日宮中での曲水の宴に参宴し、

「風光になげうち渡りて　海濱に臥せりき　憐れむべし　今日佳辰に遇ふこと　近く臨む桂殿　廻流の水　遥かに想ふ　蘭亭　晩景の春　（以下略）」

と中国蘭亭に想いをよせる詩歌を詠じられたことがありました。太宰府の地では、「天満宮安楽寺草創日記」に天徳2年（958）3月3日大宰大弐小野好古が宮中での道真公の往時をしのび始めると記されています。

An annual "早天祈 father meeting" full of the will of "the Kumamoto band" which youths formed to spread Christianity in Japan was a Hanaoka mountain of Kumamoto-shi in the days of Meiji in the early morning of 30th the beginning.

たき火を囲んで「熊本バンド」をしのぶ参加者＝３０日午前６時４５分ごろ、熊本市の花岡山山頂（石本智）

明治初期、キリスト教を日本に広めようと若者たちが結成した「熊本バンド」の志をたたえる恒例の「早天祈とう会」が３０日早朝、熊本市の花岡山であった。熊本草葉町教会や熊本ＹＭＣＡなどでつくる実行委（小山哲夫委員長）主催。

夜明け前の午前６時半、信者や高校生ら約２００人が集合。気温が氷点下になる厳しい冷え込みの中、たき火を囲んで賛美歌を合唱した。

熊本バンドがキリスト教の信仰を誓った「奉教趣意書」の原文を熊本大大学院の山根彰太さん（２２）が、趣意書の口語訳をルーテル学院中２年の田上紅羽［くれは］さん（１４）が朗読し、参加者は祈りをささげた。

実行委によると、熊本洋学校の教師ジェーンズの教えを受けた熊本バンドの３５人が１８７６年１月３０日、花岡山に集まり、奉教趣意書に署名した。若者たちは熊本で迫害を受けたが、京都の同志社で学び、宗教界や教育界などで活躍したという。（岡恭子）

Higo Kumamoto thrived as the cornerstone of Kyushu region, having 540,000 koku of rice under the Kato and Hosokawa families for 300 years in the Edo Period, and "Higo Bunka" was developed.

They are free to do getting on and off from each rental place.

When I borrow it from Hotel New Otani Kumamoto by Kumamoto Station for my thought and use an underground bicycle parking lot of Kumamoto city International Center in the city, I think that I am convenient.

Cherry blossoms which it watched from the Mt. Hanaoka.

These photographs are a visitor of Higoji and things when I went for sightseeing, but I see the smoke of the crater of Mt. Aso in the front of these stairs when it is fine.

It is the Kumamoto city and the cherry blossoms which it watched from the Mt. Hanaoka.

There became more few cherry trees than the old days, but cherry blossoms are beautiful here.

And I see Kumamoto-jo Castle, too, and this place is a superb view।

今日はよくサンキューパスをご利用されて阿蘇及び別府へ行かれるお客様がいらっしゃって乗車を交通センターからと思いこんでる方が多いのですが、熊本駅前が始発となります。

次がホテルニュースカイ前でその次が交通センターになります。

朝駅前が混んでる時はホテルニュースカイ前で乗った方がバスの本数も少なく間違えにくいと思います。

　先日ハワイからのお客さんを宮本武蔵の霊巌洞を案内してそのまま熊本市内から西の海沿いにある草枕温泉に案内して好評だったので試しに行ってみました。

　露天風呂からの普賢岳の景色が最高で帰りの地元の土産物も安くてお勧めなのですが、海外からの観光客には交通が不便なのが難点です。

　朝から霊巌洞を観光してバスで西に走って草枕温泉で温泉三昧と言う形の一日コースと考えれば楽しめると思います。

昨日以前から気になっていた「御馬下の角小屋（みまげのかどごや）」に行って来ました。

　熊本市内から北に12Kmほどの所にあるのですが、車で近くまで行くものの車を止めて中を見るまでするのをつい煩わしく感じてしまっていましたので、やっと先日自転車で行ってみました。

　受付で２００円払って中に入ろうとしたら、受付兼館長さん兼清掃係。

　つまりここはお名前が橋本さんって言うんですが館長さんお一人で何でもなさってるらしくって見学せて下さいとお話したら、何と自ら館内を案内されて色々説明して頂きました。

　それに館内の説明書きを手書きで作ってらっしゃって感動しました。

　小さい所で一人でされてるんで説明もこの施設への思い入れの深さを感じました。

　ちょっと熊本城から離れている点が難点なんですが、昔の生活を垣間見るのにはいい場所だと思います。

　願わくば、いっそ細川刑部邸横辺りに移転すれば観光客の利便性が高くなるのでは思いました。

遅くなりましたが、阿蘇定期観光バスの小国・黒川温泉ルートのグーグルマップをやっと作りました。

このバスを利用しようと思うなら、JR熊本駅発07：10、08：46JR阿蘇駅着。

バス停阿蘇駅前発09：05、バス停阿蘇山西駅着09：45。

約６５分火口を見物してバス停阿蘇山西駅発10：50、バス停阿蘇駅前着11：20で阿蘇定期観光バス13：00発に間に合います。

同じように08：34JR熊本駅発に乗っても阿蘇駅で２０分の待ち時間があります。

この定期観光バスなら雄大な景色の大観峰と黒川温泉を楽しめて世界の阿蘇山を満喫できると思います。

　前回紹介した阿蘇定期観光バスの阿蘇谷ルートをグーグルマップに作って見ました。

普段外国のお客様は阿蘇火口の観光のみになる傾向が多いのですが、この定期観光バスでは大観峰と阿蘇神社を廻る事が出来て阿蘇の魅力を再発見出来ると思います。

　でも、阿蘇駅を9時出発なので熊本からこのバスに乗る為には7：10熊本発に乗らないといけないのでちょっと早起きしないと行けないのが難点です。

別コースで黒川・小国ルートがありますので次回までにグーグルマップを作ろうと思っています。
